God the Father…

God The Father, Christ the Son, The Holy Spirit are three in one. I’m not about to get into the depths of the three as separate identities but one being. I don’t know enough, nor do I feel the right. I do know that we, as humans, have our fleshly bodies, our character-personalities, and our spirits-souls, three in one. My daughter sees people’s spirits in colors. I am yellow!!! I like that; it feels warm, soft, and giggly.

We’ve all seen pictures of man’s interpretation of how Jesus looked. But, what does the father look like, the Supreme being. He looks like love! And, just how does love look? I don’t know, you tell me.

I’m reading “The Shack by William Paul Young,” in which God appears to the main character as a voluptuous loving African-American woman. Why? In the writer’s story, Mack has terrible memories of the men in his world, so God comes to him as a loving, happy, soulful woman. My grandma had a best friend named Patrola who was just like that. I loved her so much, I remember she always asked for some sugar, which was a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Patrola was pure love, you could just feel it!!! I picture her as I read.

I was blessed with a loving relationship with my dad and my grandpa, so it’s straightforward for me to see God in a male essence, My Papa God. Perhaps you see Gandalf, Dumbledor, or The Pope, or a bit of all three rolled into one. Maybe you see a controlling, damning, angry God sitting on his throne just waiting to zap someone? I hope not as nothing could be farther from the truth.

In this book, I’m reading, which I highly recommend, God bears the same scars on his wrists as Jesus does. That hit home for me; God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit three in one. The next time you try and picture love picture…

John 3:16-18 NIV “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned,”

Whether you recognize it, know it or even feel it; you are loved. All you have to do is accept it. Have a blessed day and thank you for joining me.🥰
