I’m in the Book of Numbers, the fourth book in the Old Testament. God is setting up his tabernacle, laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines for the Jewish people. He is instructing Moses step by step with very explicit details.
One of the instructions included a prayer that Moses was to teach Aaron and his sons, (God’s appointed priests) to pray over Isreal. The prayer is beautiful and I wish to pray it over you as we begin a new week!
Numbers 6:24-26 CSB
“May the Lord bless you and protect you;
May the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
May the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace.”
In your name Lord Jesus, I commit this prayer. Amen!
I pronounce the Lord’s name over you that he Bless You and Keep You!
