Mary Did You Know?

Many artists have sung this song; one of my favorites is by Reba McIntyre. I wish to share the words to this beautiful song with you as we celebrate the spirit of Christ’s birth this month.

“Mary, did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water? Mary, did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters? Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new this child that you delivered will soon deliver you?

Mary, did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary, did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod, and when you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God?

The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again. The lamb will leap, the dumb speak the praises of the lamb.

Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations? Did you know that your baby boy is heavens perfect lamb that sleeping child you’re holding is the great, I AM. O’Mary, did you know?”

Exodus 3:13-14 NIV “ I AM who I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM,’ sent me to you.” God also said to Moses, “say to the Israelites, the Lord, the God of your fathers – the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob – has sent me to you.” This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

There is a different feel in December; along with the crisp temperatures, sparkling snow, and bright blue skies comes a warmth. That warmth is God’s son being born unto this earth, bringing with him the dawn of a new day and His great gift of Eternal Love and Life.

We should all try and hold the warmth of December’s love in our hearts all year, but for today. Be blessed, Be A Blessing and Thank you for joining me.🥰
